039 Dice Tomatoes: La Vegas Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman Visits FEED Farmers Market and joins John Donovan on Dice Tomatoes Radio Show.

It has been a smooth hand off, like the passing of a baton, as Carolyn Goodman has seamlessly continued in the ‘Goodman’ tradition of knowing how to work a room, or in this case, a farmer’s market.

It’s hard not to like the mayor who exudes a natural ‘New York’ DNA style of warming up a crowd and bringing big smiles from all in attendance at last Thursday’s FEED (Fremont East Entertainment District) Farmers Market on 7th Street in Downtown Las Vegas. Like her predecessor, Carolyn Goodman appears to really enjoy being out and about and meeting her fellow citizens. In a word, she’s fun.

Whe she joined us on our La Voce Sponsored Dice Tomatoes Radio Show she was truly passionate about the need for locally produced food and embraced our Southern Nevada sustainable food movement during her recent campaign.

Toward the end of our interview, while perusing the September 2011 edition of the La Voce News Magazine, she had a few tongue-in-cheek suggestions for La Voce’s publisher and editor about their already gracious support for sustainable food that brought laughter to the crowd of people listening in.

We appreciate the mayor’s support and allowing us the time to interview her.

Listen in…..she’ll have you smiling and laughing too.
